I will be making two easy and fast Indian crockpot curries for meal prep. A beef crock pot or slow cooker curry and a lentil crock pot curry which can be made with or without meat depending on if you are vegetarian. These indian curries can be made easily in the crockpot and can be frozen as freezer meals for Ramadan prep if needed. Running an efficient home with The Daily Connoisseur

Beef Curry Recipe:
2 pounds boneless beef
2 tomatoes
1 onion
2-3 green chilis (optional)
1 tsp Salt (adjust to taste)
1 tsp coraindar powder
1/2 tsp white cumin powder
1 tbs ginger/garlic paste
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp crushed chili flakes
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp Garam masala spice mix
1/2 tsp lemon juice

Add all ingredients to crockpot and cook on high for 5-6 hours.

Recipe for Garam Masala Spice Mix:
2 green cardamom seeds
1 small stick cinnamon
black pepper
6-8 cloves
¼ tsp. cumin seeds

Recipe for Lentil Curry
4 cups gram pea lentils (soaked 2-4 hours but overnight preferred)
2 pounds beef (optional)
1 tomato (optional)
1/2 onion
2-3 green chilis (optional)
1 tsp Salt (adjust to taste)
1 tsp coraindar powder
1/2 tsp white cumin powder
1 tbs ginger/garlic paste
1 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp Garam masala spice mix
1/2 tsp lemon juice

Mix all ingredients together in crockpot. Add 1-2 cups of water and cook on high heat for 5 hours.
